Quality check - live and in color

Thomas Schneidawind, Managing Director of Paul M. Müller, traveled to northern Italy a few days ago to visit tomato producers and suppliers on site.

While everything was fine in the fields visited, immense areas in the Emilia-Romagna region were flooded after torrential rains. At present, it is still unclear how many hectares of land are involved, which will now first be dried and prepared againbefore new seedlings can be planted. As a result, the schedule is pushed back a minimum of two weeks. What's more, important items are alreadyscarce or sold out, maximum prices have to be paid for them. Nevertheless, we negotiate for you in the best possible way. Our photo shows Thomas together with Nicola for zwei different manufacturers. More food news and current info can be found here.
