In addition to the legal framework conditions and regulations that need to be complied with, thepersonal commitment of each individualplays a decisive role. How do we implement this as Paulis? Quite simply! The idea of organizing a sustainability week was born back in the summer.Petra Zilkerfrom Quality Assurance sent out a questionnaire to employees to collect numerous ideas and suggestions. The focus was on topics such as saving water, electricity and paper as well as avoiding food waste. For theFirst Sustainability Weekwhich took place in the fall, the goal was set,Getting to work in the most environmentally friendly way possible. The result? Impressive! Around 54 percent of journeys to work were made in a carpool, by train, by bike or on foot (2,003 km in total). E-cars were used for a further 27 percent (976 km). Further sustainability weeks are planned for the future, during which various targets will be defined to make it possible to measure how sustainably we actually live and work.
