In Peru, rising temperatures and persistent rainfall in connection with El Niño could affect cultivation and the harvest. Significantly lower volumes are also expected in Egypt - many farmers have significantly reduced their acreage following last year's low prices. By contrast, positive signals are coming from Spain: despite high rainfall in January, stable harvest volumes and very good quality are expected. So the artichoke season remains exciting!
