New recipe: Pineapple curry dip

Our fruity Adriatic pineapple conjures up that vacation feeling on your plate. For example, in this delicious curry dip - it is just as impressive at a breakfast buffet as it is as a side dish at a barbecue.

All you need are the fruity pieces, cream cheese, onions, a few spices and 10 minutes. Perfect for the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the kitchen and a tasty highlight for guests. Enjoy your meal!

Ingredients:

1 tin of pineapple (340 g drained weight)
500 g cream cheese
1-2 onions
1 tbsp rapeseed oil
2 tsp curry powder
1 tsp mustard
Salt
Pepper
Chili flakes

Preparation:

  1. Drain the pineapple, reserving the juice. Stir the cream cheese with a dash of the drained liquid until smooth. Peel and finely chop the onions, then fry in rapeseed oil. Dust the fried onions with curry powder, fry briefly and leave to cool.
  2. Cut the pineapple into small pieces (keep a larger piece for decoration if necessary). Fold the pineapple pieces, fried onions and mustard into the cream cheese and mix well. Season the dip with salt, pepper and chilli flakes and refrigerate until ready to serve.
