The second trade fair: A few days after TuttoFood in Milan, our Managing Director Fabian Kretschmer and his colleague Christina Metzger went straight on to PLMA in Amsterdam.
Four developments that caught our attention during our visit to the Internorga in Hamburg were particularly noticeable:
AI in the kitchen
Cooking robots and automated processes are here - not yet everywhere in everyday life, but definitely more than just dreams of the future.
Convenience continues to grow
Products are used in a targeted manner to simplify processes and take the pressure off teams. This is an important lever, especially when it comes to the shortage of skilled workers - while maintaining high quality standards.
Visibility is changing
Brands are increasingly working through people. Influencers and brand ambassadors have long since arrived in B2B.
Focus on healthy food & drinks
Vegan, high protein & co. remain in demand. And: pistachio and matcha can really be seen everywhere at the moment - from drinks to desserts.
